What to Expect

When you walk in the door on a Sunday morning, you’ll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The typical worship service will be one-hour in length, and there you will find:

  • community worship through music, prayer and the preaching of God’s Word.
  • worship music containing a mix of both contemporary worship songs and traditional standards.
  • a time of worship through prayer and offering, and a thirty-minute message straight from the Bible, with relevant life application.

You will see a wide-range of attire, so come in what you’re comfortable wearing.

Before the Service

The Sunday morning fun begins well before the worship service each week. Seventy-five minutes before the service begins, many in our church family meet in the fellowship hall for a snack and community connection, providing an opportunity to catch-up with friends after a long week. After a short lesson and prayer for the whole family, the group splits up by age group for Sunday School. We offer classes for all ages, including one for adults, so there is something for everyone.

Children

We love our children, and you will see a lot of them on a typical Sunday morning at Rose Hill. Before the service we offer age-appropriate Sunday School classes for kids as young as two, through twelfth grade. We believe the worship service provides an opportunity for the whole family to worship together, along with the rest of the “faith family.” If needed, there is a nursery available in the back of the sanctuary, as well as a video venue in the fellowship hall, where families can participate in the service remotely.
